Stretch Pilates - Virtual

Take time for yourself this holiday season!  Join Kim  for a Stretch Pilates class via Zoom.  We will focus on all  the basic Pilates moves for lengthening and strengthening plus stretches for flexibility and just because it feels good! This class improves posture and focuses on the core and all the other muscles of the body.   From the top of the head to the tips of your toes,  will be energized and yet relaxed by the end of the class.     *Please be sure you add your email when prompted for registration.   Zoom meeting ID is sent via email link.  *No classes 12/1 and 12/8 

Thursday Toning- Virtual

Join Kim for this weekly class designed to sculpt and tone with hand weights, no weights or other household objects (soup cans or water bottles).   Safe and effective toning exercises will be demonstrated.   This class requires standing or sitting in a chair and a mat or towel for floor exercises.   Some very low impact toning moves will be added to give the heart a little boost but the main focus of this class is getting those arms, legs and core lean and strong.   All you need is a small area!  *Please be sure to add your email upon registration when prompted.   Zoom meeting ID is sent via email link.  This is a six week session held on the following dates due to instructor vacation and holidays that fall on Thursdays:  November 19th, No class Thanksgiving through December 10th.  Class on December 17th, No class Christmas or New Years eve, Classes on January 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th.   

Virtual Knitting Group

Are you looking for a knitting group where you can work on a project while socializing with other knitters? Look no further than our group-a blend of fiber crafters of all levels who knit on needles, a jiffy loom or crochet.  This is not a "learn to knit" class.  Knitters will be available to assist, as able, virtually.  This social gathering is sponsored by New England Village, a non-profit organization that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.   Open to all adults 18+.  Beginners with basic knitting experience welcome.   Invites will be sent via email with the Zoom ID meeting link after registration.

Mason Jar Wall Sconce Set -Virtual Class

This class is a Level 2 Intermediate class.   Fairy lights make everything look so magical. Melanie Zagwyn will lead you step by step via Zoom  to create these wall sconces decorated for the holidays (but easily switched out for year round enjoyment).    Wooden plaques will be painted and distressed, a metal hangar attached, twine and/or ribbon added for embellishments and fairy lights inserted into each jar.  Skills needed include painting and sanding the wood plaques, screwing the hangar into the wood, tying a knot/making a bow and assembling a winch.  Kits will be ready for curbside pick-up at the Sollar Wellness Center in Pembroke prior to the day of class.  Kit includes paint brush, wooden plaques, sandpaper, metal hanger, mason jars, fairy lights and twine/ribbon.  Zoom invites will be sent out via email.   Click here for a clearer sample: Sconce
